It's twenty twelve. Can you believe it? Each year seems to go by so fast! People tell me its because I am growing up. why is change and growing up always the cause? I know it is really quite simple, but sometimes I think I am just figuring that out.
I am so excited for the year! My baby sister (aka my only sister) is turning 14 in January. Old enough to go to dances! Marcus (aka Midget) is now nine and just as questioning and adventurous as ever! Me? I am doing well (in my studies and at home) and am starting to look at colleges and universities. I'm not driving (yet) which is good for both me and the road (not gonna lie, I am a bit scared of this!) and am working on three different novels at once. And none of them seem to be going anywhere soon. Eventually (at least in my head) they will be published and make me rich and famous. Ive decided something. I really don't want ton be actress famous, merely J.K Rowling famous. Or Emily Dickinson famous. Truth be told, I would rather be famous before I died, rather than after.

SCHOOL STARTS
I am very VERY excited about school this year. I will be taking online classes and using MATH U SEE books... so basically, I am being HOMESCHOOLED.
Now, before you go on about the bad in homeschooling, I have a good reason for wanting to be pulled out of school. The tempations. The drugs being offered, the condoms and birth control pills being handed out, the parties with alcohol I was invited to, and in my freshman year, being flashed. Its all happened to me.
School has been great, a bit lonely at times, but great. I like that I can do my assignments whenever and wherever and am responsible for it without a teacher raming me for it. Not that I dilly-dally either! I love school and learning, and keeping busy!
